At Home

My alarm clock woke me up as usual this morning. The moment I got up, felt the whole room was spinning. Throat hurts like there are needles stuck in it. I had myalgia and diarrhoea on Tuesday followed by sore throat yesterday and today, completely defeated by the viruses. Sigh!

I went to Luther Musicworks with my colleague yesterday during lunch break. Ying has a guitar that needs repair before he ships it to Hong Kong as he is moving there for a new post this Sunday. Me, of course I was there to check out some electronic pianos. I saw my sister's new toy which she bought last month, Yamaha DGX220, didn't try on it but I had the chance to try the more superior model, DGX620. I must say I am very impressed with it. Before my visit to Luther Musicworks yesterday, I thought I have already made up my mind to consider just between Yamaha P-70 and P-140. Now I ended up with more choices. DGX620 is value for money with its features and functions, more importantly, it has a full 88-key range with Weighted Graded Hammer Action, that gives the touch of real piano keys - but still not as good as when compared to P-140. The only problems with DGX620 - it is probably too bulky and won't fit into my room.
